I recently watched a powerful interview where a woman asked, "Who am I uninterrupted?” It stopped me in my tracks. It’s a bold, daring question that asks us to set aside what’s “safe” and consider: "Who would I be if nothing held me back?" It’s easy to let doubt or fear creep in right when we’re on the cusp of something big, especially when it means stepping into an uncharted part of ourselves. We might hesitate, negotiate, or put up barriers just before taking that next audacious step. But this dark season- the doorway to Samhain- is about going beyond surface fears and reaching for our truest, bravest selves. It’s about having the courage to let go of interruptions—external influences or internal limitations—and listen to what’s calling us from within. This season has its own agenda—depth, truth, and uncovering what lies beneath the noise. It’s the perfect time to turn inward and honour what’s revealed in stillness. As always, in this plant-spirit herbalism journey, we can rely on our herbal allies for support, wisdom, and protection. Over the next few months, in the lead-up to my book being released, I’m leaning heavily into this question and working with the following herbs: Download the complete handout here. You might work with one herb, cycle through them all, or combine them. The choice is yours- on this plant spirit herbalism path, there is no one right way! So tell me, who might you be, uninterrupted? Hit 'reply' and let me know, I read and respond to all of your emails. Warmest, Wendy |
